A woman used bolt cutters to break into lockers of unsuspecting members of a San Antonio gym, according to police.
Authorities first received a call in October for a burglary report at a Gold’s Gym on Evans Road.
Officers arrived and discovered that multiple lockers had been broken into and that a woman’s car was stolen from the parking lot, according to an arrest affidavit.
The woman shut down her stolen credit cards after she discovered they were used at multiple locations, according to the affidavit.
Police arrested Brandi Jo Jenkins, 22, of San Antonio, on Dec. 4 when they responded to a similar incident at a Gold’s Gym on De Zavala Road.
Jenkins was in possession of bolt cutters at the time of her arrest, according to the affidavit.
Jenkins allegedly admitted using the stolen credit cards to make purchases from stores across the city.
She was charged with fraudulent use of a credit card.
